These terms cover your use of the DigiDonate website. DigiDonate is the trading name of MBGGo Pty Ltd (ABN 49 654 888 712). By using the site, you agree to them.
Terms used here. ABN means Australian Business Number. ACNC means the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission. DGR means deductible gift recipient, a charity the Australian Taxation Office has endorsed to receive tax-deductible gifts. GST means goods and services tax.
1. What the website is
The website explains DigiDonate and lets businesses, charities, referral partners and investors get in touch with us. Using a plan is covered by separate terms:
- businesses: the Business Terms;
- charities: the Charity Agreement; and
- referral partners: the Referral Partner Terms.
If those terms and these ones differ, those terms apply. Sending us a form doesn’t create a contract for a plan.
2. Information, not advice
Information on the site is general. It isn’t tax, legal or financial advice. A charity issues a receipt for your gift; whether a gift is deductible depends on your circumstances, so ask your own adviser.
3. Charity information
We check charities’ DGR endorsement and ACNC registration against public registers, and show information from those registers and from charities themselves. We take care to keep it accurate, but registers and charities can change. A charity marked “not yet on DigiDonate” hasn’t signed up with us. We don’t promise what any charity will achieve with a gift.
4. Matches
Matches are suggestions, based on what you tell us. The choice of charity, and whether to give, is always yours.
5. Prices
All prices on the site are in Australian dollars and include GST. Values shown for what a plan includes show the time each item takes; they aren’t a price you’ll be charged.
6. Using the site properly
You agree not to:
- give us false information, or pretend to be someone else, including a charity or business;
- use the site for anything unlawful, or to send spam;
- try to break, overload or get unauthorised access to the site; or
- copy or scrape the site’s content or charity data for your own use.
7. Our content
We own, or have permission to use, the content and design of the site. You may view and share it, and link to it. You may not reproduce it for commercial use without our written permission. Charity names and logos belong to the charities.
8. Other websites
The site links to other websites, such as charity websites and public registers. We aren’t responsible for their content.
9. Liability
We provide the site with due care and skill. Nothing in these terms excludes a right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can’t be excluded. Otherwise, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss from using the site, and we don’t promise it will always be available or error-free.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy (/privacy) explains how we handle personal information.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page, with its date, applies.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
